Jamescita Peshlakai - Lead Coordinator

Ya'at'eeh shi kei doo shi dine'e!  My dear relatives and community members, my name is Jamescita Mae Peshlakai.  My clans are Tangle People Clan, born for the Redhouse Clan.  My cheiis are Bitterwater

Clan, and nalii are Cliff Dweller Clan. I am the Lead Coordinator of the Navajo Nation Traditional

Agricultural Outreach program, and have worked for this organization which is a program of the parent organization, Developing Innovations in Navajo Education, Inc  (DINE, INC) since 2008 Jamescita Mae Peshlakai Lead Coordinator

Thomas Walker, Jr. - Commercial Farm Director

Ya’ at’eeh all my relations. I am Thomas Walker, Jr. My maternal clan is Ashii Hii, born for Biih Bitoodnii. Mty maternal grandfather’s clan is Totsonii, my paternal grandfather’s clan is Tse Deehgizhnii. I grew up in the Tsezhin Tah and Tsidii Toii’ areas in the southwest Navajo Nation, where I continue to reside and work.

I am the Western Navajo Commercial Farm Project(WNCFP) Manager for Developing Innovations in Navajo Education, Inc. The WNCFP is a federally-funded project that is to develop a farm project for economic development and to train farmer participants for commercial farming. The project site is located in Tsidii Toi”, Arizona.

Darcy Peshlakai - Direct Services Coordinator

Hello, my name is Darcy Peshlakai I am of the Tangle People Clan and my Paternal Clan is of the Red House People Clan and my Maternal Grand Parents Clan is of the Bitter Water People Clan and my Paternal Grand Parents are of the Cliff Dweller People Clan. I work for a non-profit organization call Developing Innovations in Navajo Education Incorporated (Dine’ Inc.). The project that I’m working on is The Navajo Nation Traditional Agricultural Outreach Program on the Western Navajo Reservation (NNTAO). I have worked for this program for Two and half years and enjoy working with our small farmers and ranchers. I work closely with farmers and ranchers out in the field providing workshop and other events to better educate then to be self sustaining in Agriculture.

Ashley Hatathli-Nez - Technology Specialist

Ya'at'eeh. My name is Ashley Hatathli-Nez. My clans are Big Water Clan born for Black Sheep Clan. My paternal grandparents are Salt Clan and Naalani. I am from Tuba City, AZ. I have worked for the Navajo Nation Traditional Agricultural Outreach Program since February2010 as the Technology Specialist. Since working for NNTAO, I have learned a lot about agriculture and hope to start a successful garden in my own backyard.
