Tolani Lake Chapter, known as Toneheliih (Collecting of Water [In A Basin]) in Navajo, was settles in the late 1890’s. Its rich basin was suitable for farming and the area has colorful indigenous plant life. Later, in the 1930’s, a trading post and day school were built
