2012 NDOH OEH/CE Food Handlers' Training Schedule

Please Note: The following schedule is subject to change without notice to circumstances beyond our control, e.g., elections, power failure, cancellation, etc.

Tuba City Service Area: Western Agency Chpaters: Tuba City, Hard Rock, Kaibeto, Cameron, etc.

Estimated time for training and related activities: Approximately 2hrs. 30 mins., 30-40 mins. for testing and training certificate (blue card) issuance, and additional time for itinerant food service permit (pink card) issuance, etc.

Classes will be conducted in English language, please bring an interpreter if needed. Please leave all children at home unless they are taking the class to get a card! Child must be 12 years or older to take test. If you have any questions, please contact 928-871-6349. To receive a Food Safety Training Certificate (blue card), one must pass the written test. By passing the written test, you may apply for the pink card (itinerant food permit). Pink card is $5.00 for six (6) months and $10.00 for one (1) year. Payment in the form of money order payable to the Navajo Nation is required (no cash). Pink card and blue card allows a person to sell food or distribute food for free to the public. Pink card can be renewed before or after class. Challenge test, if time permits, may be taken about 55 minutes before start of class (if time permits). Please be on time-doors will be closed.
