About NNTAO

Navajo Nations Traditional Agricultural Outreach (NNTAO) was created by Dine Inc. to provide technical support and assistance for Navajo Agricultural producers and regional food systems. (Navajo Nation farmers and ranchers)

NNTAO has been working with disadvantaged limited resource Navajo farmers and ranchers since 1997. NNTAO goals are to provide agricultural outreach and support services for the Navajo Nation and USDA.

NNTAO has conducted multifaceted agricultural operations, management training, created a Western Navajo Nation Food Policy Council and is currently facilitating the creation of a Navajo Nation Food Policy Council.

NNTAO creates a supportive network of resources targeting Navajo farmers and ranchers.NNTAO is governed by the board members and advisory council including community members and partner agencies

About Diné, Inc.

Developing Innovations in Navajo Education, Inc. (Diné, Inc.) is a non-profit corporation formed in the mid 1990s by local community members and interest, to focus on, and engage local community needs and concerns. The rationale being that: Local community desires and issues were no being adequately addressed by the Navajo Nation. Since its inception, the results of the corporation’s efforts has seen new educational facilities and opportunities, Reservation-wide satellite Internet service and innovative approaches to traditional Navajo dryland agriculture on the Navajo Nation. Consequently, Diné, Inc. has developed a national and international network of interest and support system, and attained extensive experience in working with rural Navajo communities in education, agricultural support and a variety of community service functions.
